I have been working on my Eve Online blog. The learning process from throwing content on the eve blog is helping me understand what i need to do here on Gaming misadventures. It took me 3 hours to write a small trade guide on my eve blog. What i had planned for a review is going to probably take a whole day. I am currently writing a template for the reviews to help speed up the process, and i hope once i get around to reviewing my favourite games that it will be something enjoyable to read.
Something else i have came to realise is that im just one person working full time already. There is no way i can put out the content that even a dedicate gaming blog can. Maybe i could sink so low as to ask for donations? Maybe if i felt my opinions were something special, and considering i have nothing down about anything at the moment, it would seem a bad decision!
Im thinking of a good game to kick start this blog. Something that if anyone read they will know my style of writing and how i will review future games. I know alot of people will agree with me on the game i plan to review that it can be very intense, and even emotional (im not the only one so dont judge). It is probably the best sci-fi RTS game ever created. Everyone has great memories of playing Homeworld. The sequel is getting old now but still looks beautiful and is definitely worth playing. Hopefully i will have something out by next week.

I am not sure how to organise the game reviews. The best option at the moment is to have a category for each game. Once i have a host and a decent template, then it will all fall into place. I plan on doing around three mock reviews, with the intention of getting feedback from people to find out if my format of reviewing works at all. This should happen within the next week.
Apart from this blog, i am also setting up my Eve Online blog. It is the MMO i spend a lot of my time on, and i think i have been on Eve long enough now to start dishing out the advice.

I am in the process of getting some web space so i can modify the blog to look more like a game review site. I am also going to make an epic “about” page, since i am just one guy, why should my opinion matter? Hopefully with a bit of my background and views people will be able to trust and rely on my reviews.
From now onwards i wont be changing the site to much. Some game templates for wordpress seem to change alot, and a smooth transition to a different template will be nice. Hopefully a forum will be up and running at some point, but im not sure if i can do that on wordpress or not.

I only play second life for the sole purpose of making money. I think im savvy enough to make enough money to work part time at my awful job. The more i explore the world in second life the more interested i have became. I have accidentally stumbled across some extremely bizarre places (i would explain them but i want a child safe blog!) and some places with nice people. You really need to push yourself socially on SL which i think has its own problems.
I can imagine every problem with a social environment in real life is shared on SL. Im sure you could find every kind of group of people who wouldn’t have a chance starting some kind of group in real life that is on the fringe of social acceptance. I think that is what SL thrives on, along with strip clubs and huge marketing machines.

Let’s hope my experience with wordpress this time around is much much more easier then last time. Anyone lucky enough to stumble across this amazing blog, there will be so much content for various things that you might want to bookmark this blog. Come back in about a half a year and enjoy the blog! I am not sure what content will be on here but i game enough not to have good experiences to blog about.
